He will ensure that there is no maxillary bone abnormality, which may contraindicate this surgery.<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Petit will provide information on the scar positioning, treatment process and procedure limits, post-operative recoveries as well as main risks, so as to make an informed decision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;box__item_ancre&#8221; el_id=&#8221;procedure-limits&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>Procedure limits<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The upper lip lift has no effect on the vertical thin wrinkles of the upper lip. This enables to reduce the height of white lip and to authorize the eversion of the upper lip during suturing. The scar is located around the nostrils.<\/p>\n<p>The cutaneous closure is performed with resorbable sutures.<\/p>\n<p>A dressing is not necessary.<br \/>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;box__item_ancre&#8221; el_id=&#8221;after-surgery&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>What to expect after surgery<\/h2>\n<p>The upper lip lift is a little painful procedure, or even not painful.
